E-mail to the "PRESS COMPLAINTS COMMISSION" Complaint
against the Guardian and Journalist Jon Robins Wednesday
04/05/2011 Dear
Sir The Law Society's chief executive, Desmond Hudson, says that "fair criticism" is "entirely valid" and that the need for clients to be able to give feedback is "extremely important". Mr Rick Kordowski set-up the website www.solicitorsfromhell.co.uk I will repeat .co.uk in 2005 and copied the same name as my site (Solicitors from Hell), his website has no connection with me, what he does is not my business and I have no thoughts as to if Mr Kordowski is in the right or wrong, on my website there is also a 'disclaimer' of any connections with the .co.uk website. My
complaint. If you look at the 'attachments' herewith you will see Jon Robins accused my website (.com) of all Mr Kordowski's shortcomings, misdemeanours or the 'good deeds', depending on how you look at it. In one case against Mr Kordowski, Mr Justice Lloyd Jones said "Kordowski was responsible for all postings on Solicitors from Hell, even if he was not the author" bearing in mind Justice Lloyd's comment the Guardian, as the publisher, is responsible for all the defamatory content published all over the www about my website and alternatively myself. Furthermore
Mr Justice Tugendhat stated: "... you
are a publisher (Mr Kordowski) and
anyway you didn't take reasonable care in relation to the publication"
That statement clearly shows the Guardian 'didn't take reasonable care'
in the defamatory content they published about my website and clearly
have not "...follow the letter and the
spirit of a Code of Practice adopted by the industry". Let
me quote from the Guardian's "automatically
generated email" reply:
- "...correct
significant errors as soon as possible"
If you access the Guardians own website at: - I have followed "The PCC advises that any complaints should first be taken up in writing with the newspaper or magazine concerned" I e-mailed the Journalist, Jon Robins and cc'd the Guardian on the 30/03/11, and a fortnight later I again e-mailed the Guardian and cc'd Jon Robins, I have not received any replies, see details below. Yours sincerely Brian

E-mail
to Jon Robins (cc'd to the Guardian) on 30/03/2011 giving the option
of an apology and removal of all material from the internet (Judge Jones
said to Mr Kordowski: - "But traces of
the allegations remained on search engines after...")
Jon Robins by ignoring me for over a month has, I believe, rejected
my generous offer. E-mail
to the Guardian (cc'd to Jon Robins) on 15/04/2011, no reply received.
Let me quote the 'Press Complaints Commission'; "...
allowing at least seven days for a reply. If the matter is not settled,
or the complainer is not satisfied with the response, then a complaint
can be made in writing to the PCC" (five weeks since
first e-mail to the Guardian on 30/03/11, no reply). Some
articles etc to show how the Guardians publication has been picked-up
by the media and re-published all around the world accusing an innocent
party of the 'wrong' doings, if that's what they are, of some other
person, that's not acceptable. http://www.newspicked.com/jon-robins-on-the-solicitorsfromhell-com-website-the-scourge-of-all-lawyers-good-and-bad http://themetabrain.com/2011/03/25/website-that-has-become-the-scourge-of-all-lawyers-good-and-bad/#comment-590 |
